Possible WW2 Relic

    I got this with a bunch of other old treasures. Based on Research i found out that this a WW2 era Safety fuel can. In its condition and based on the letting, im thinking it was used in the Navy. It has a cast iron lid and from what i can make out it held Lubrication.. can anyone confirm that it was used by the Navy?
