Possibly African Bronze vase

    Have done a bit more research. The shape seems to be typically Indian...

    Yes, it looks very Indian.
    I remember little pots of that shape being carried by the smaller girls as they went with their mothers or the older girls to fetch water.
    Small bronze pots are also used in ceremonies, and with those decorations I think that may have been the purpose of this one. Those arches look very Indian, the figures look like dancing girls, maybe Apsaras or heavenly nymphs.

    Indian, still made, sold widely here in shops which cater for said population. Not carved, but basically hammered. You'd have a sort of chisel shaped tool which created the marks when you hit the thing. Yours looks a bit older, maybe first quarter of the 20th, but they're hard to date.
