Possibly Horner? I suspect, but I'm not sure

  1. This gorgeous carved oak cabinet suggests Horner to me. The remnant of the furniture tag is pretty obliterated. The only marking is the carved "171" What do you guys think.     I would see no problem with attributing it to Horner. Of course in the absence of a tag, stamp, or other form of documentation you can't say it's "by" him, but due to the size and execution and richness of the ornament and detail, "attributed to" seems fair.
