Possibly silver, medallion with strange hallmarks

Not sure what this large 2 3/4" square medallion is, possibly silver?? Has strange hallmarks on the back and not sure of what it represents? thanks!!

 

maybe something Korean.....

Mexico/Aztec, Central America??? Seems to have birds, donkeys, snakes, monkeys, anteaters, heads with exotic feathers. At the top just below the pendant loop might be a grotesque head with an open gaping mouth that looks Aztec-ish. Might be a sombero in the top right corner? The marks on the back aren't Mexican silver hallmarks and doubt any country's silver hallmarks. They may be the maker's marks/logo.

The top two marks look a little like a flower over a Kukri

 

I doubt it is silver.
Looks more like the metal that we used to see in the old Cost Plus hippie era. That's why I thought possible India.

I don't think it is as old as the 60s -70s. Almost looks like some of the stuff found in New Age stores. Do we import metal trinkets from Pakistan ?
