    With the runners, the two that come to mind for me are, Lane and Co. California pottery and Royal Copely (sp?).

    I have searched using Royal Copley, but did not have any luck. I will look around using Lane & Co.

    The handle is so cute & it instantly reminded me of the bathroom wall décor that was so popular back in the 60s & 70s. :happy:

    Thanks lauragarnet!! :kiss::kiss:

    I just searched "pottery clam shell fish basket bowl" and hits come up saying these are Hull Pottery Ebb Tide Line.

    I didn't investigate long enough to see if I could find any that are marked, or seller descriptions with book references.

    Hopefully someone else can verify if it's true.

    I have found the answer!!! :D:D:D

    It is part of Hull Pottery's Ebb Tide series. :jawdrop::jawdrop: With that bottom I would have never even thought of Hull.

    I found one listed on ebay with that claim but before I dismissed it I did a quick Google search. I found this one at Replacements.

    http://www.replacements.com/china/hul.htm

    I also found it pictured on page 205 of Roberts' Ultimate Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery.

    I guess the motto of this one is bottoms sometimes lead you astray. ;):smuggrin::smuggrin:

    Hull has done several pieces with the runners. Several years ago I had another piece of Hull with runners.

    I know I am a glassie at heart & know that baked dirt is a challenge for me, but it is not the first company that pops into your mind when you see the runners. :happy:

    Does your Hull book give a name for the color combo of your basket bowl?

    I noticed the link to Replacements names their color combo Chartreuse and Wine.

    According to the book "Ebb Tide pieces were done in high gloss colors of Seaweed & Wine (chartreuse & wine) or Shrimp & Turquoise."

    There are also some pieces with gold detailing, but it was done outside of the factory.

    It is more pink than the photos show. There are fluorescent lights directly above this shelf & then the glare from all the glass around it didn't help. These photos were taken very quickly in the store.
