That is so cool, a 3 note whistle. Wonder if the original owner trained his chickens to "come back home" with the proper note sequences??

I don't think so Rayo but I used to call the Bob Whites with a just a just a whistle. Used to drive my father and uncle crazy.

When I was a little kid my parents had a house in a huge area of just grass fields and woods - Always heard them "Bob White" calls.

The thing I always thought was funny when I would "hypnotize" the chickens. I would have 10 to 12 of them lined up on their backs and they would stay there for 4 or 5 mins. My gram would go hysterical. She threaten to beat me or something worse if I did not show her how I did it. I promised my great uncle I would never tell anyone how to do it.
