Pottery Jardiniere

    So far I have had no luck identifying maker or a pattern name for this jardiniere. Measures 9" tall and is 10" wide.

    My first thought was Weller, but I have not been able to find anything to confirm that it was made by them.

    I can't confirm this as Roseville as it's not in the Roseville book I have (but I don't have the one mentioned in the listing.) I did want to mention that Roseville called this "blended glaze" rather than majolica so that might help in your search. (I'd probably want more than a mention in an Ebay auction as reference so maybe someone will have the book or know if it's true.)

    Hi,
    I was getting an Owens vibe from this piece. I do not think Roseville either. it has been so long since I even thought of jardinières.

    This is one of the books you can search inside on amazon. It is on p. 65, top row, second from left.
