Featured Pottery Lamp with horses

    Does this pottery lamp look familiar to anyone? Probably 1970s or 80s by the look of the cord. There is a painted wood base that is attached so I can't see the bottom. I see no signature or mark on it. Are the people on the horses Native Americans or Vikings? They seem to be wearing horned helmets. I am hoping someone might be familiar with this type of pottery. Thanks!

    Well that wouldn't be me, but I'm happy to learn too and like your lamp!!!! And as you say, they DO look kind of Viking-ish!!

    Horned helmets can be Japanese. Is there no way to get that base off?

    Look like samurai helmets to me. Not sure the Vikings had horses.

    I agree with Ownedbybear and Bronwen. Samurai. He is also holding what looks like a spear.
