Featured Pottery Mark Help

    Is he a humidor? Looks inspired by this "Majolica Continental figural frog humidor with red."

    There are quite a few a frog with pipe humidor with numbers on the base that people are selling as old. They say it appears in the book Marvelous Majolica by Snyder and in Price Guide to Majolica” by Michael Strawser & L-W Book Sales (I don't have these books)

    Is yours a humidor? I am a bit concerned and hope I'm wrong but I'm wondering if this is a Chinese more modern piece. It occurs to me that your mark could be an attempt to look like as British registration mark.

    I don't see where @Mario's comes apart unless it would be at the neck.......and I'm not so sure it does..........
