Pottery, not even sure if old

    Not sure if these are old or not. Sort of a pearlesence (sp) glaze with a gold edge. Only marking is 2033 on the bottom.

    Lustre style finishes have a long history but pearlized finishes of this nature usually date post WW II. Can't tell you too much more about them. It will be virtually impossible to identify who made the pitcher. These miniatures were popular dime store items.

    No stamp on ours but it very well may have been scrubbed off. My MIL was famous for scrubbing things within an inch of it's life. Up to and including taking Brillo pads to dishes. So the Pearl China stamp may have been there at one time.
