Pottery Pie Bird

    Measures 4 3/4" tall, 2 1/4" wide and is 2 3/4" deep. Has either a B or R inside of a diamond mark on the front.

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Now, THAT'S a pretty one!!! The few I've seen are usually pottery gray, dark blue or black!! Lots of repros out there!! I don't know the mark...

    That's mad. It's certainly Boyd, I've had these, but they're also definitely pottery.

    Yes, their web site lists ceramic pie vents under "products", but it seemed so far-fetched, like saying Weller also made glass.
