    Feels cheap and recent but wonder where it may have come from? Mexico/South America? Any idea how was the finish made?

    The body sort of looks like sewer tile so maybe a sewer tile vase? Not as folky as they usually are.

    Never heard of sewer tile folk art before. Glad that you mentioned it. I am not sure what is the finish. Can't tell if it is fired or not. The clay seems to chip very easily.
