pottery signature help please

Maybe studio, or hobbyist? I don't know, and I don't know which way to orient the photo, so I did it 2 different directions.
Stands 5 1/8" high. It has sort of a metallic iridescence to it. Thanks for your time.

It's kind of hard to tell, I think maybe Jack or JacV and then 81 or actually there maybe another word like sun?

Anyway what I was going to suggest it you look at raku pottery. Some raku has some crazing and cracks but this looks a little like damage to me.

 

There is a Marica Jackson who does raku pottery. Might be worth exploring her work.

I think it might be "Jackson" with the "son" part of to the edge. But found another signed Jackson on ebay and the "J" looks the same.
