Bought this 11" vase at a recent flea market. Molded ware with a barely visible side seam. Base is slightly concave. Reminds me a bit of Denbac or Pierrefonds, though the base is way wrong for the latter. Could just as well be modern Chinese. Thoughts?

Not distinct crystals but more like mushed snowflakes .... :woot::cool:

Didn't know how else to describe it. Not exactly a rutile glaze either..... nor mottled since there is a flow to it.

Is there some red in there towards the bottom?

It looks like a 豇豆红 jiangdou hong "peachbloom" glaze that didn't fire very well. Should be mostly mottled red with touches of green.

Really no red (more like tan or buff as seen on the bottom).

Huh. I'm stumped. Could be southeast Asian as they say these days, but strangely, I'm getting an American vibe which may simply be from the colours...
