Pottery Vase Green Speckled Vase ID

    Vase measures 8.5" High, Diameter is 5.25" Green Speckled. It is marked but the glaze is thick and I cannot make it out. Maybe says California in center and
    USA . I have not been able to find this shape.

    I can see "California". Momentarily. The base markings appear to be incised and cut into the clay after the clay was dried and before the first firing. I think that's why this is so hard to read. Looks like "USA" below.

    I cannot ID it.
