Potties,help with this box?

Hi all,picked this box up cause it was pretty and a dollar.It looked a little better quality than usual,but thats wishful thinking usually. And it was only a buck! 4 1/2 x 2 .Any input always appreciated.

I agree with komokwa in that's it's recent. If you google search "Imari box" you can find other examples although most don't have the metal closure.

For the life of me I couldnt remember the term "Imari"! yeah,I figured it was new,but for a buck I thought "Why not" ? Of course,I have boxes of why nots everywhere!
