Potties, Schumann Dresden Plates question.

    Hi all,
    I picked these up at my local thrift today. .50 cents each. Wish there were four but only the three shown here. they are 7 1/2"
    P M & M has the mark listed as between 1932 and 1944.
    The date the artist signed the backs is 1925. How could this be or is it not a date by where the signature is?

    I actually would go by the signature of the hobbyist. Dating factory marks is not always precise as we would like it to be. OTOH, if the painting of the date is worn, it could be 1935. JMHO.

    It's not. It is 1925 on all three plates.
