Hi all. Is this little beauty as exquisite as I seem to think it is? Its 2 1/2 inches high,3 1/2 wide. I long ago gave up on anything Asian, but something about this one caught my eye and when I picked it up and saw the colors under a layer of grime,I was sold. The lid is so thin Im astonished its not cracked or chipped. Any input is as always appreciated.

That's a Kutani mark on the underside of the handle...I think. And the colors fit for kutani...Very pretty.

Isn't there a special name for this side-handled pot? I'll be darned if I can remember it.
