Potties: White "Fish Scale" Flowerpot w/ attached saucer

Good evening folks. Hoping someone recognizes this flowerpot w/ attached saucer. I've not had much luck so far. Of course, it is completely unmarked. My first suspicion was Shawnee but wasn't able to verify. About 4 7/ 8" diameter x 3 7/8" tall. Thank you

 

Here are two in yellow, Justartpottery thinks it's Shawnee though I found someone that sold one as Nelson Mccoy. Neither cites references.

Sorry cannot really see the bottom, but if I had to pick, I'd WAG McCoy

 

It looks a little bit too shiny for vellum white? Hard to tell.

 

Definitely a gloss glaze.

 

I bet you're thinking of the ebay boardie, art.pottery. I miss him, generous with his knowledge. He helped me with several items way long time ago. I don't remember his name though.

That's it! He had a fairly large page on ebay picturing beautiful pottery he had picked up on his buying trips.

I doubt it's McCoy. Most McCoy products are pretty well documented and I've never seen this piece in any of the reference books that I have. I also don't recognize the mark as a format McCoy used.

 

Correct, I have my doubts about it being McCoy also. I could have sworn I have seen it once before attributed to Shawnee like shown in sis's first link but it isn't in either of my Shawnee books
