Hey guys! Found this firm at an antique show a couple weeks back. Any guesses at what year this is from? The inclusion of the African-American child is interesting to me - any ideas on his relation to the family? Thanks in advance guys! :) IMG_7397.jpg

That's a large family grouping. The young African-American boy would be a servant or the child of one of the household's (of which there were likely several.) Photo can be dated by the pouter pigeon waist worn by the fashionable woman at left. That was a turn of the century (1900-1910) fashion. Edwardian.

Neither does the child on the tricycle or the boy on the rug.

    Hi,
I never had shoes on except when I went to school or church.

Oh, good observation! I was focused on his feet because of that big toe and was wondering what it was. When you look at all the finery I guess I just got caught up in the moment.

    Agree with 1910
This appears to be a similar pram. Dated as 1910

I agree with the date range. I think early in the range but that's just a guess. So maybe 1900-1905ish. That may be putting too fine a point on it.

Is this photo mounted on a card? Sometimes seeing the card mount can help me in dating an image.
