Hello People who are way smarter than me,

I have acquired this museum piece, assuming it was in a museum, of an pre-columbian woman. The statuette measures 9" x 4" and between 1 to 1.5" thick. It is mounted on a painted wooden base. The statuette is a resin duplicate in that it is lightweight, as my understanding that if this were real, that it would be made of stone or some type of terracotta. So therefore I am assuming it was made as a duplicate to be shown in a museum or made to sell in a museum giftshop.

Any guidance as to whom the statuette represents (a goddess?) and the period and/or culture that the original may have been produced would be greatly appreciated.
