Featured Pug & Man...think these are Staffordshire too

I got the pug yesterday,man he has seen some *things* :O
*Human...are you addressing...MOI? How absolutely DARE you. No I shan't come in. I think NOT. *

He's my fave...have already moved some dollies for him

H's 8 and a half inches down ( 21 cms) and 7 inches across (18 cms)














Is this also one? I've had him for ages, in fact I forgot I had him. Is he someone or just a figure?
He's 10 inches ( 26 cms) down

Edit: I have just noticed he's covered in ahem *incense stick residue* :O
I'll give him a quick wipe over xx

The chap is a 'Huntsman' and I think part of a pair, not done Staffs figures for a long time, but this was one of the more sought after figures, and a little earlier than usual, mid 19th Victorian.

Pug look right for a period one too, also more valuable than the average figure.

Those eyebrows, which are hilarious, and his slightly primitive look are dead right for early.

 

I know someone who draws her eyebrows in like that. They have got higher over the years bless her

hhehe! I'll never understand the weird eyebrow thing. I've seen some Sindy horrors,as well. I know my limitations. I hate painting eyebrows. I try to avoid it as it has to be done in one go. Some people don't have this self knowledge, is what I will say. :O

 

Occasionally she gets one higher than the other too that adds to the effect. She is a very elderly lady so as long as she is happy thats all that matters

 

There are worse afflictions for sure ! ​
