Hi everyone, I am here hoping to get answers on my questions. I bought this vase a few years ago at an estate. I eventually figured that the mark is qianlong but i'm not sure if its real or fake. What is the value? Also the vase has the Chinese legendary Nezha fighting the sea dragon scene all over the vase and the only vase i found that is somewhat similar is the kangxi vase from the Shanghai museum. Thank you in advance!

my suspicions are not i'm afraid, all that brown on the base looks painted on or falsified. i dont get any feeling of genuine age

please wait for the experts though ;)

Definitely modern with an "honorific" mark as Komo indicated. Perhaps not intended to deceive - especially with the added little triangle mark.

You have all pointed out some good points. Made things clearer now as I have wondered for quite a while. Thank you all!

    Ditto.
So 20th century, not intended as a fake, but a reference to the greatest patron of the arts China has ever known, emperor Qianlong.
    Nice dragon though.:)
This one could be inspired by the Kangxi vase.

Agree with the others assessment, this is a late 20th century reproduction. You can buy similar items which are still made today from places like China Express for around $150-200
