    Hi folks

    can anyone help with the mark on this silver brooch

    marked 835

    wondering origin age/style and if its a makers mark next to the 835

    any help appreciated

    Gorgeous brooch, looks German. But I can't see the mark well enough to make something of it.

    thanks Aj, yeah its tough as i cant get the tarnish out. will try and get a better snap after soaking it a bit in cleaner

    probably doesnt matter, but wondering just in case its a known maker

    i thought it looked more like a 9 after a bit of cleaning, so it was worth the effort :)
