Question about an old Aluminum Locker

I picked is up at a sell and curious if it is military. I had never seen one like this so did some internet searching and found one similar that the seller says is a Naval Locker. TIA

 

See if a magnet sticks to it - might be stainless steel.

 

I will do never really thought about it being stainless, I guessed I was more intrigued by why it had little locking areas inside as well as out to think about anything else.

 

Look for markings, military items should have long numbers permanently marked somewhere on them.

And then someone else seem to think it came from a school gym. I am just confused by the fact that it also has those inner drawers that can also be locked

 

Oh now I just give up someone else had one advertised as a submarine locker and then this one as an Aircraft Locker LOL They are all grasping at straws. No one really knows.
