Question about malachite pendant

I picked up this malachite sterling pendant for $1. It is marked Lancer and sterling. THe chain is also sterling. I can not find out anything about Lancer and what is the purpose of the glass bubble on the back?

 

No idea. Too new for me. Generally a glass bubble on the back indicates something was meant to go under the glass, but not in this case. So...?

 

No idea, but it’s very pretty. Malachite is amazing.
Googling Lancer and Langer gets me nothing other than some unrelated Langer clasps.

 

Thank you for looking. I looked under a microscope and did not see anything in the bubble. I looked up Lancer and Langer as well -zilch. I am thinking Lancer since the word sterling and the arrow look like a lance.

 

What is the dot to the right of the S of Sterling?

There really is nothing out there.
Lang search wizard comes up with 3 Langers and no Lancers but dead ends on all that I can see.
Sorry not to be more help.
I have no clue if it’s that style but do Native American artists use Malachite?
Maybe get a flat shot of the mark and try Google Lens?

Yeppers. No surprises there. The old time smiths used turquoise and whatever other bits got traded in. The newer ones use whatever looks good.
