Question about painting Nickel Silver?

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Hi...I had a couple of small items made and want to paint with bright enamel two small parts on both of them.....can anyone answer if I need to either abrade the areas I want to paint or clean with alcohol or something else before doing so???? I then want to coat the painted parts with a gloss varnish or urethane or something......

    And before I forget....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ANY AND ALL!!!!! :cat::cat::):):):D:D
