What does one call the mechanical parts of a table which hold up "butterfly wings," and where does one go to buy such things?

I bought my little baby bear table, knowing that parts were missing -- no problem. But, as I keep thinking of all the different places one can use it, I find that I am beginning to regard said table in the same light as one regards one's child who needs braces.
