Can you post a closeup of at least a section of each?

If they're paintings, they obviously have condition issues but to my eye look like they were very well done. I really like the image of the child.

 

The Oval one is more than likely a print. The other one hard to tell from pics but leaning towards print as well. Try taking a closeup of the square frame picture

 

Well!! This will never happen again!! The oval one is a print, and it is a copy of a painting of Alexander Biddle. One of them.

I used to own a copy of this. I bought it years ago, because I recognized the subject. One of his descendants, also named Alexander Biddle, briefly attended my school when I was in 7th or 8th grade and we became friendly. About 10 years later I came across the little print in an antique shop, gave a classic double take, and read the info pasted to the back.

Sorry, have no more information -- but the genes are strong in that family!!

 

The boy is a print of famous painting, but I can't recall who or who by.
