The trio are blown in (3-part) mold, tooled lip, with applied ring handles and no pontil. A bottle person could date them with fair accuracy.

The amber one is an early crown-capped patent medicine (VINOL) pint flask, blown in mold, with a proprietary bottom mold over a tube pontil, patent dated April 19, 1893. Vinol was a very popular snake-oil around the turn of the century, probably due to a high alcohol content.

William Painter invented the crown bottle cap in 1892.

The shapes are what're important to this conversation. I've never seen an actual Chestnut, but they must have a similar flattened, inverted heart shape.

    Gotta go...more Chestnut flasks later!
