    Anybody think they know a value of this clock. It works and has they key. It’s a RAF with an Elliott movement.

    @stranget - Hi & welcome to the forum!! :happy::happy:

    Since I "paged" AF for another thread maybe we can get him to give his opinion on your clock. He may need some more photos such as a close up of any marks & one of the movement if possible.

    That is the backplate of the movement, he will want to see the working guts.

    I've enlarged your pics and put them the correct way up.

    In my mind RAF stands for Royal Air Force. I realize that the clock has no connection but that's whats fixed in my mind.. HMMmmm.. 1941, war was raging and I was born in 1942. Okay.. I'll shut my yap !! ... Joy. :):):)

    Hello, and Christmasjoy is correct. RAF does stand for Royal Air Force.

    I think the OP knows its RAF Royal Air Force, the RAF emblem is on the face.

    I’m just curious on the value. I haven’t seen to many for sale via normal auction sites.

    The valuedependsa lot on where you are.
    The RAF clocks were made by Elliot so this is probably authentic rather tan any old dial clock tarted up a bit.
    I assume it is a 12 inch diameter dial.
    Dial clock prices have been a bit all over the place, many repros made in India and quite convincing have muddied the waters regarding value.
    UK auction estimate a broad £100 to £200.
