Raku?

    I picked this piece up today. It's glued to a marble base. It appears that it once had a plaque on the front of the base. I'm thinking this piece was either in an exhibition and the plaque told the artist name or this piece was a trophy. I plan on taking it off the marble base in the near future. I can't find anything for comparison. The blue is a vibrant cobalt like Charles Masten pieces. Any thoughts on age, maker, or origin is appreciated. Thanks, Joe

    What a lovely, graceful design. The base does seem inconsistent with the vase.
