Featured Rare Patsy Cline Promo 1957

I got into Patsy Cline mode this evening, her voice always draws me in.....I love Patsy forever!

I have many rare Patsy Cline records in my vintage vinyl collection, I will try to share some of them in the forum once in awhile.

This is a tough to find 1957 Decca Records Green Label Promo 45 rpm for Then You’ll Know/I Don’t Wanta. This promo looks & plays in mint condition, pretty darn good for a 62 year old record.

 

I know the feeling. She was one of the singers I listened to a lot when I still sang, many moons ago. Even though my genre and voice were very different, there is so much to learn from singers like her in the way of expression, and making people really feel a song.

Yet another well sung Patsy song (I’ve been into her song Never No More lately. It’s on one of the Promo records of hers that I have.

 

She was a bit rough around the edges, wasn't she.
Another favourite of mine, Sandy Denny (I call her saint Sandy Denny), was too. Women singers had to stand their ground in a man's world.
