    Hello antiquers!

We have this lot for you today, and we were wondering if anyone can verify that it is indeed a "Rachel Ruby" pattern, with a similar piece perhaps? The tall vase is 10" tall. Thanks!

Hazel Marie Weatherman often referred to as HMW around here, thought all patterns should have names, so if she couldn't find a manufacturers name for a pattern, she named the pattern herself.

Philip Hopper, who has written books on Anchor Hocking including "Royal Ruby" Glass as well as Forest Green glass, and is the curator of his own Anchor Hocking Museum, pictures bot your vase and bowl in his book "Royal Ruby", in the established pattern section of the book. As Chat about indicated, the name for the pattern is Classic. The catalog number for the pattern is R-900.

And as you may well know, "Royal Ruby" was a trademark of Anchor Hocking.
