Red Stag Figurine Marked Germany Help ID Age?

    Kingjoker, I really like this little stag or elk (or whatever he is!)

    Is he actually made of some sort of ceramic material, or might he be chalkware?

    He reminds me of a cross between the Wade (England) pottery animals and the old German chalkware figures:

    Yes mine looks like a red clay mold that was pressed together
