Redware Pottery Figurine - Girl in White - Mexico?

    Hello Everyone - The figurine stands a little more than 7 1/2" tall. The style looks familiar but I can't quite place it. Any help in determining where it was made would be much appreciated. The only mark is the number 7 (or a similar symbol) on the bottom. Thanks very much!

    She's lovely and simple!!!!! Could be a 7 or an L maybe??? Also looks like there may be a small "3" off towards the right........not that it might mean anything.......

    Thank you, Aquitaine. I suppose it could also be a 7 referring to a 7" size?

    More a green onion or a gourd I would think but I'm sure it's open to interpretation.

    Dom Rep is one the largest avocado producing countries in the world. Therefore, more likely to be an avocado IMHO.
