I have this cute little 3+1/4" high redware sgraffito pedestal bowl.
I was wondering if it's an American repro or Mexican.
Someone glued the felt on the bottom and it's literally disintegrating, there are no marks, just random scratches.
    Thanks for any help.

I haven't been able to find yours yet, but look for "British motto ware" maybe.

And maybe expand the search to Torquay motto ware.

It's British, from Devon. Absolutely typical. Made from oh, the mid 19th till almost the present day. There were so many factories making this that you'll never attribute the thing. I like them but they're not huge value. Sugar bowl.

Thank you Bear ! The value isn't really important to me, I'm keeping it just because I like it. So happy to hear it's British, just like my Mum, I love all things British.
    Thanks again !

Uh oh...I'm seeing a whole new area for collecting. Time to move and get a bigger place.

I have a few pieces of motto ware that belonged to my great aunt. I'm very fond of them! :)

I had a sugar and creamer set that sold immediately. It's not that common in the States.
