Reed and Barton ... cocktail forks?

    Thinking silverplate as there is no "sterling" mark (only "pat. app'd for") and the weight feels a bit more like plated.

    Would I call these "cocktail forks"? Any additional info appreciated.

    This form is usually listed as "seafood" forks.

    Pretty pattern! We always referred to them as seafood forks, but then again we had some weird names for common things, so....................

    These are plated. Mid to late 1800's US plated flatware often has a numeric mark, such as the 2 on these, to designate the amount and or thickness of the plating.
