Religious Painting

    Saw this at the local TS. Cannot tell for sure because it is behind glass but looks like pastels on paper. Seems to be signed but it is black on black and hard to see. Large, maybe 30 something square.
    Do you think it is worth the $50?

    No and at that size, you must consider the cost(s) of shipping too.

    Thanks. I wish I could see the siggy but I doubt it is by a famous artist.

    The frame is worth that much but the contents are rather mediocre.

    The face of Christ is rather arresting, but more by a happenchance than the artist's talent. And I have a problem with Thomas's nail polish.

    It's a partial print of a famous painting by Guercino called The Incredulity of Thomas and it's in the National Gallery in London
