Hi Guys and Gals, looking for someone to remind me where I have seen these before.
    Any ideas?
There is no marking to the bottom of the piece.
Been racking my brains as aI do recall seeing these before somewhere.
    Many Thanks

Can we see a picture of the bottom please?

Take off of a Toby mug.
Interesting that it has a border similar to Blue Willow patterns.
Could be English, could be Japanese.

If you can get a detailed picture of the Blue Border, maybe someone with a Blue Willow book can track down which transfer pattern and who used it.

Can you show the top too, please? Is it a vase or a statue?

I'm deeply unconvinced these ever saw England's green and pleasant land.

You're going to ask me why, now, aren't you. Basically, they look wrong: the colours, especially that orange are off for 18th/early 19th C underglaze. Painting and shape is too considered by half. The glaze is too gloopy and shiny. Not seen Tobys/character jugs here with a transfer hat and plinth, but anything is possible. ;)

Can I see the undersides, please?

First thing that crossed my mind was Beswick. But if it's not marked, then probably not. He is cute.

These are tobys but not all tobys have handles. These are English. I'll need to see into the tops to tell you exactly what you have. I'm a 40 yr toby collector. So take a pic of the top of each one.

    Thanks,
    Dana
