It needs that twisted wire handle.......but it's still nice.




I find the Luftwaffe one's very strong.... ( not mine..! )


& ever since I saw Clint Eastwood use a Mauser in one of his early movies, the broomhandle has been one of my favorite pistols.

If I could find one like this to own, I would......but this is Canada ...y'know !

 

It would look nice with twisted wire. And mauser and luger/kruger? Are beautiful looking side arms and have always been my favourite. I have a .22 replica of this.

 

I like the luger too. Compact and stylish...or when it's dressed to party !!

Coincidentally one of my videos shows some friends shooting a Spanish-made full-automatic version of the Mauser C-96 pistol. As I recall it holds 15 rounds and about the shortest burst you can fire by just tapping the trigger is 8 rounds. This gun had taken a bullet through the stock at some point but unfortunately we don't know the details.

You guys crack me up. Big boys and their toys. Very clever design. It looks safer than firing antique cannons, though!

 

OK-hmmm, lessee now, how many people are killed each year with antique cannons? Now how many people are killed each year with pistols?

 

Just because you haven't blown yourself up yet doesn't mean you won't! It's my mother's fault. Our neighbors had an old cannon we set off every July 4th. When she found out, she wouldn't let me go over and help because she was sure it was going to blow up on us. I grew up with Fear Of Cannons.
