I picked up this carved geisha figurine at my local thrift a few days ago. I am wondering if it is resin? The front is more white in color than the back. The backside has more of a yellowish tint to it than the front. Thank you for any info!

I'd bet on resin. Ivory is really heavy, if that's any help. Resin doesn't weigh nearly as much.

It does appear to be cast rather than carved.

    Yes to resin.
Not a geisha (Japanese profession), but a Chinese lady. Could represent Guanyin.
