Not sure if this is the right forum, but can any of you offer suggestions on identifying/dating Rhenish stoneware stoneware fragments? I've come across some interesting pieces while walking along the Rhine, but I haven't been able to date them 20170622_220851-1.jpg 20170622_220930.jpg . My most recent find:

You don't mention the size but I think it may be a lid to one of this type. 1498164006497-1561112013.jpg

Wow, that looks a lot like it! I guess it probably isn't an antique at all. It's about 9 cm by 9 cm.

They've been making those since forever, so it could be older than you'd think.
