I got six of these glasses the other day. I don't think they are worth a great deal. I just think they are unusual, and have never seen them before.

On the band there are line drawings of an igloo, a cape style house, a log cabin, a teepee, a ranch style house, and a South Seas hut. Each home has a small figure next to it.

    Can anyone help?

I'm starting to get the feeling that they were by a cheaper maker who sold through magazines or some such.

Hopefully one of us can find some in original box or maybe an old magazine ad. It could happen!

A glass guy that I used to run into at the antq mall from time to time told me that this type of glass was made by the boat load and came out of New York somewhere. But he couldn't remember too many details. I don't know if NY means import or made here. He was trying to make a point to be careful of glasses like these that people called Dorothy Thorpe because so many makers were copying them.

I know that doesn't help much. I guess I like to type (lol).
