I bought an 8" by 10" framed black and white print of Roger Daltrey. I thought it was maybe from a magazine. I don't know how to take it out of the frame. Under magnification I can see the dots to indicate it is a print not a photo. Info at this website:

The Wolfgang piece is an actual photo, called a vintage print. What do I call mine? A printed reproduction of a photo... I think the frame dates it to the '70's. I really want to list it and the listing be correct. Any help would be appreciated ! DSC06281.JPG DSC06279.JPG

Those metal crosspieces at the corners are like springs & come out by pushing ends out from under sides of frame.

Thank you so very much. I was able to get the photo out of the frame. It is a glossy on board, marked Freelance, Lansdale, Pa. I really appreciate your help.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I'm not seeing any indication that the Wolfgang one is a photographic print. It might be, but it also might be like yours. Yours is "vintage 1973," it appears.

Roger Daltrey's name is misspelled (Roger Daltry) on both the Wolfgang's image and the Freelance one I have. They call theirs a vintage print, selling in the photography
area. I am going to send them an email.

    Sounds like a good idea!

And sorry to say, I had not noticed the misspelling on yours, or on their listing. :(

I think that might be an image of him at Woodstock. I have been watching all the specials & he did wear a shirt like the one in the photo.

The photographer Joe Sia, worked for Rolling Stone Magazine and he was at Woodstock. I am looking for confirmation as to the location of this photo and some information regarding Freelance, Lansdale Pa.
The Freelance copyright is on many entertainer's photos. They don't seem to sell for much.

Two responses from the Wolfgang group neither had any specific information. Could not confirm if it was a Freelance Photo.

Yes he wore this top at Woodstock, also, at the Isle of Mann Festival around the same time.
