Measures 17cm x 15cm and 0.5cm-1cm thick. Seems to be painted ceramic and I assume a simple mould piece. I’m thinking a souvenir item sold at a Roman site but from where and when? The paper on the back is making me think 1920s? English? I found a Medusa head plaque online in similar relief as a tourist piece from Bath England. Anyone have any idea or leads? Many thanks. That's certainly old wallpaper on the back.

Thanks @Figtree3 yes I had tried that but with no luck. So thought maybe same idea, different Roman site.
