Rose Maddox/The One Rose 1960

This is a 1960 Capitol Records first pressing of Rose Maddox/The One Rose, this is a rare original debut solo LP of hers.

Rose Maddox was a legendary singer in the country & bluegrass genre, she started performing with her brothers while they were still children starting in the late 1930’s through till the mid 1950’s (They were known then as The Maddox Brothers and Rose). The band broke up in about 1956. Rose Maddox pursued a solo career with her first LP release, The One Rose in 1960.

I’m glad to oblige @BaseballGames music is quite a passion of mine, some of this stuff I heard when I was very young, played around the house I grew up in (my parents had an amazing record collection of just about anything you can think of). It all sounded larger than life to me then, it still does now when I play it.
