1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg Is this set original? The size of the plate (22 cm) is the same as on the official rosenthal website, but the saucer and the coffee cup (14.5 cm, 9 cm) differs from the dimensions given on the website by 0.5 cm (15 cm, 9,5 cm). The logo also looks real when compared to the pictures from the ebay auctions. The set is Rosenthal x Versace Medusa Red. I've just recently got interested in porcelain and I have absolutely no experience with it, please help me. [IMG]

see the middle of the page

Search: rosenthal versace medusa continental | Replacements, Ltd.

Please note that those prices are for those seeking pieces missing from their service. To get a real value, use ebay sold listings. Go to ebay type in your search term and go to advanced at the top right, click on it scroll down to sold listings and then go back up to search.

I am not interested in selling this set, I just want to confirm if it's authentic.

Replacements is usually an accurate source of information.

Can't find the Medusa Red coffee cup on the Rosenthal web site. Would you post a link to the information? In the meantime, I would have no reason to believe the pieces aren't genuine.

I don't think that's a problem. Bloomingdale's gives saucer diameter as 5.75" which is a bit under 15 cm. I've sold this pattern (a thrift shop find!) and my measurements weren't quite the official measurements either. You look good to go to me. Do keep in mind that the cost of creating a mold in those shapes would be high; no counterfeiter would make the investment for a luxury item that wouldn't suit a wide variety of decors.
