Hi all, I picked up this sweet little 4" vase at a yard sale the other day for a Dollar.
I really liked the fact that all the Roses are a yellow color and not pink or red like on most of their Rose tapestry items.
I was wondering about the mark. I know it was first used in 1909, but for how long?
Is this vase teens or twenties?

Can't help with date, but love the texture on this. Nice find!

It can be difficult to date Royal Bayreuth patterns because they tended to use the same marks over many decades. In my experience, the age doesn't matter too much to collectors. Most Royal Bayreuth collectors seem to specialize by pattern (Rose Tapestry, Scenics, Nursery Rhyme, etc.), shapes (toothpicks, powder boxes, etc.) or figurals (Animals, Devil, Santa, etc). According to my book, Royal Bayreuth exported heavily to the US in the 1920's and I'd put your vase in that timeframe.
