Featured Royal Crown Pin; Vermeil Foundation, Blue Teardrop Gems

    The only mark is Sterling, on the very bottom of the headband at the back. I don't know what to call the gems; rhinestones, paste, or? Google Lens found one like it; the listing said 1950's.
    I'm slightly confused by the Royal Crown name, as that's also a brand of whiskey...an', yes, it's missing a stone in the headband. Thanks for lookin'!

    It's a crown design, probably circal WWII when they couldn't get brass or pot metal. THe stones are glass.

    I can't tell if the clear stones are black dot paste or not..:sorry::sorry:

    Crowns were a hot design for years. I doubt Her late Majesty had any influence.

    Trifari did some nice ones in sterling. Bring a nice price too if you find some. Theirs were patented, but were inevitably knocked off by all and sundry.
